In most cases, the performance reviews are evaluated according to an overall score rating that gives managers and supervisors an appropriate measure to compare the performance of different employees. In other cases, a rating scale might be used that will be used to gauge how the behaviour or performance of an employee corresponds to pre-defined parameters of success or failure.
